PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE FORMULA

SUBJECT/PRONOUN + VERB-TO-BE + VERB-ING

SUBJECT/PRONOUN + VERB-TO-BE + VERB-ING

EXAMPLE:

Ali is sleeping.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE QUESTION

We are going to learn about how to change a sentence into a question form.

RULES:

1) Put verb-to-be from the sentence at the front of the question.

EXAMPLE:

SENTENCE = Ali is sleeping.

QUESTION = Is Ali sleeping?

RULES:

2) Put question mark (?) at the end of the question sentence.

EXAMPLE:

Is Ali sleeping?

RULES:

3) Follow the formula below:

VERB-TO-BE + SUBJECT/PRONOUN + VERB-ING?

EXAMPLE:

Is Ali sleeping?

EXAMPLE:

Change the sentence below to question.

SENTENCE = They are playing football in the field.

QUESTION = Are they playing football in the field?
