Tujuan Pembelajaran :

• Siswa dapat menyebutkan jenis jenis Tenses

• Siswa dapat menuliskan struktur tenses dari Simple Present, Past Tense dan Future Tense

• Siswa dapat mengerjakan soal soal dari kalimat Simple Present, Past Tense, dan Future Tense dengan bentuk kalimat positif, Negatif dan Interrogatif

Simple Present Tense

Untuk simple present tense digunakan untuk menunjukkan kegiatan yang sedang terjadi saat ini, simple present juga digunakan untuk menunjukkan kebiasaan. Tense ini juga menunjukkan general truth atau kebenaran umum.

Contoh Kalimat :

(-) He does not love to play basketball.

(+) He goes to work everyday.

(?) Does he go to school?

Past Tense

Bentuk past tense digunakan untuk menunjukkan kegiatan di masa lampau. Simple past tense sendiri adalah bentuk sederhana untuk menunjukkan kejadian di masa lampau.

Contoh Kalimat :

( ? ) Did she play with Buni that night ?

( - ) Dani did not buy new laptops last night.

( +) He touched my hand and it scared me!

Future Tense

simple future tense adalah digunakan untuk berbicara mengenai tindakan atau kondisi yang akan mulai dan berakhir di masa depan

Contoh Kalimat :

(+) I will call the police if they try to break into this building

(-) I won’t call the police if they don’t try to break into this building.

(?) Will you call the police if they try to break into this building?
