​The verbs you used to complete the songs are called modal verbs. Let's remember what they are used for:

​In English, as you know, there are different verbs that we know. The action verbs, auxiliary verbs (to determine if we have a negative sentence or a question and the tense they are in) and the modal verbs.

Modal verbs are usually used with an action verb and they usually express specific ideas or intentions or functions of language, such as possibility, necessity, and permission. Check the following example:

I eat fruit. (real situation) --> I should eat fruit. (recommendation)
