• ​Topic 1: Short Stories = Topic 1: Poster etc.

​INTRODUCTION

• ​The purpose of the introduction is to give your reader (me) a clear idea of what your essay will cover...

• That is, introduce the particular topic the essay will address in a general sense to provide context.

​BODY

• ​The body of the essay is where you fully develop your argument.

• Each body paragraph should contain one key idea or claim, which is supported by relevant examples and evidence.

​CONCLUSION

• ​The last section of an essay is the conclusion.

• The conclusion should reaffirm your answer to the question, and briefly summarize key arguments.

• ​It does not include any new points or new information.

• ​Finally, draw together the question, evidence in the essay body, and the conclusion.
