1. Students will work in groups of 3 students.

2. Each group should choose one of the local traditions in Indonesia. 

3. Each group will discuss the answers of the questions below.

a. How do you define tradition, culture and identity?

b. Why do people value tradition? 

c. Investigating a particular tradition in Indonesia.  

* Including photographs of tradition and cultural mores (e.g. special meals, types of dress etc.).

* Using Google Earth is highly recommended.
