​Learning about them helps keep our minds sharp, and improve how we make our sentences and communicate properly.

​So let's get to it! In some parts of this presentation, you will be asked some questions to refresh your mind regarding the topics we discussed.

I. Pronouns​

These are words that are used in place of nouns in sentences, to avoid repeating the nouns themselves.​

• ​SUBJECT PRONOUNS

  • They are found at the beginning of the sentence, doing the action or being the topic.

• ​OBJECT PRONOUNS

  • ​They are usually found after the verb or preposition.

    ​Example: The teacher gave us an assignment to pass next week.

• ​POSSESSIVE PRONOUNS

  • ​They show ownership.

  • ​Example: There on the floor was his favorite toy truck, now broken into pieces.
