​Quarter 3 NANSHA PROJECT

Goal: Make a story about how SDG 11 is present in the Nansha Bay Area.

Role: Supposed that you are member of Guangzhou Municipal People's Council's Research and Development team, and tasked to research how are SDGs are followed in the Nansha Bay Area

Audience: Visitors of the planned exhibit at the Nansha Library on January 27th.

Situation: With your group, select two (2) SDG 11 targets and research how it is being implemented in Nansha District's Bay Area.

Product/Performance: In groups of three, make an output that explains the following:

  • ​How your chosen SDG11 targets apply to Nansha District?

    • ​If it's present/implemented: What suggestions can you give to strengthen its application?

    • ​If not present: What suggestions can you give to implement the targets?

  • ​Answer your group's research question. (selected by your group)

Note: Output can be in the form of essay, video, infographic, or photo essay.

​Question FORMULATION TECHNIQUE

For the project, your group needs to answer one research question which will serve as your group's focus.

​The question should be based on your group's interests. So pick something that every member of your group prefers.

​To help you think about possible questions, let's watch a promotional video about Nansha Bay Area.

  • For 3 minutes, list down questions based on the video.

  • Ask as many questions as your group can.

  • Write every question as it is stated. Do not edit them.

  • If your idea is in statement form, transform it into a question.​
