​There are THREE types of verbals:

​ -Infinitives - to+verb

-to go, to be, to talk

​ -Participles - end in -ing or -ed; act as an adjective

​ -crying child; parked car; frozen pond

​

​ -Gerunds - end in -ing; act as a noun

-Running is a great stress reliever

-You can relieve stress by running.
