Conditionals

​In conditional sentences, we have two clauses:​

• Situation + result (possible/ impossible)

If you have time (situation), we will go to the cinema (result)

Zero conditional ​

​- Situations that always happen

If you water plants, they grow.​

- Situations that are generally true​

If you heat water, it boils. ​

​PRESENT SIMPLE + WILL

FIRST conditional ​

​- Possible situations in the future

​

If you read before going to bed, you will sleep better. ​
