Delivering one's ideas/messages by using your own words/phrases/sentences and citing the source of information.

4 Steps of Paraphrasing (Don't forget to cite the source)

1. Read the original Text to understand the message (jot down the key concepts).

2. ​Restate the original messages in your own words.

3. ​Recheck your draft, compare it with the original version. Ensure it does not remain too similar.

4. Repair your draft so that it's written down in an academic manner and it flows with the rest of the others.
