The numbers that we did were the usage of the numbers in it's feminine form. We use that for counting and for arithmetic. This is also the form we use for counting feminine objects like girls and families (bahnoth/yelahdoth) and families (mish'pahchoth). But when count masculine nouns the masculine form of the numbers are used (ex. Achad ahsar, shnaym ahsar, sh'loshah ahsar, ar'bah'ah ahsar, chameeshah ahsar... followed with the noun..
