Focus on the Story (The Main Argument) you are sharing.
Be sure to stay "Low tech" when planning out your story - use pen and pencil or a form to develop your story.
Jump right into making your presentation and avoid wasting time planning things out.

Be sure to consider the context of the time period you are studying and make that very clear to your audience.
Make sure your research question is asking a historical question.
Always think about what has changed because of your topic or what has not changed. Consider impact and Historical significance always.
