Everyone has experienced conflict at one time or another. Conflict happens when ideas or interests go against each other. This is not always bad. When conflicts are resolved in a fair and healthy way, they can help people learn from the conflict and grow.
However, if conflicts are not resolved, they can cause headaches, sleeplessness, emotional problems, and even violence. Conflict can be classified in two ways— internal conflict and external conflict.

This kind of conflict with another person or group of people is external conflict. This can happen almost anywhere. You can experience external conflict with your friends, in school, in your community, and even at home.

Usually, anger at events happens because things do not go the way you want them to. Often, these events are beyond your control. You will need to manage your anger so it does not negatively affect you or others around you.
Anger towards others happens because of something that someone said or did. People can do things on purpose to make a person angry. Teasing and name calling are common causes of provoked anger. Other times, people are rude to you or are insensitive to your feelings. Sometimes you feel neglected or ignored, and that can lead to anger.
