How do you tell someone what to do?

You must use the 3rd person singular form (él/ella/usted) in the present tense. ​

When forming (+) commands with double object pronouns, you also attach the pronouns to the end of the command. ​

IOP's before DOP's​

lavarse las manos (lávatelas)​

Double Object

With verbs like ''lavarse'', the pronouns ''se'' will change to ''te''.

The pronoun will also be attached to the end of the command. ​(lávate)

Reflexives

In both cases, when attaching a pronoun to the end of a command, an accent will be gained in the second to last syllable of the word.

• Forma de yo (1st person singular in the present tense)

• Quita -o (take off the -o)

• Cámbialo​ (change it to the opposite vowel)

  • e/i- a​

• Add an ''s''​

Remember: it maintains the original irregularity (-go/stem-change etc.)

Whether you are using an IOP a DOP or both, they will be placed BEFORE the command.

Because the command is directed to ''you'', the reflexive pronoun will change to ''te''.

It will be placed BEFORE the command.​ (mirarse) no te mires
