There are many APs available at PHS, from English, math, language, sciences, history and more. Students can take the Collegbpard AP exam for college credits. While Honors courses add 5 points, AP classes add 10! AP classes are much more rigorous than Honors classes, but take on the challenge! For Honors and AP classes you need a teacher recommendation or a waiver.

Freshman Seminar​

Freshman Seminar is a pass fail course with no homework. In the beginning it helps guide you around the school. You’ll be able to learn about culture, how to manage conflicts, ​healthy relationships, and other helpful subjects before ending the year with a service project.

Talk to your gym teacher, get a physical done any time of the year for your sport. Make sure you've done a concussion test, the Genesis questions, etc. Make sure you register for fall sports from the end of the school year before the fall season. Tryouts and pre-season practices are usually in August.
