Tujuan Pembelajaran ​

1. Siswa dapat menganalisis fungsi sosial, struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan untuk menyatakan Cause and Effect sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya secara mandiri.

2. ​Siswa dapat menyusun teks dengan hubungan Cause and Effect.

3. Siswa dapat menentukan effect dalam sebuah paragraph​

1. Menggunakan kata atau phrase seperti : Because of, Because, Due to, Owing to, Thanks to, As a consequence of, As a result of, etc

   Contoh:

   1. We can’t fix this bike at all because of the broken wheel

   2. ​Our failure due to lack of practice and support from the trainers

2. Menggunakan signal words/phrases because of, thanks to, as a result of, due to, as a consequence of dan owing to apabila diikuti oleh noun dan verb

   Contoh:

   1. Mr. Bertonius is late to school because of the rain

      • Signal phrase: Because of

      • Cause: The rain

      • Effect : Mr. Bertonius is late to school
