How do I turn in Late Work?
Formative Late Work - formative work will be accepted up until the day of the quiz/test on that material. After that you can submit it for NO CREDIT
Summative Late Work - late summative work can be submitted until the end of the trimester. You will recieve no greater than 90% credit for summative late work
this includes tests, quizzes and labs

What is the daily procedure?
When you walk through the classroom doors, you are a scientist. Be seated before the bell rings and get ready for class. Check the Board for further instructions and other necessary materials for the day.
You are considered tardy for this class if you are not in your seat ready for class to begin when the bell rings.

Weekly homework willl be assigned from the online textbook in a layered learning model (more to come).
Once a unit we will have a large summative lab that will take 4-5 days to complete.

You will be given work time throughout the trimester. During this time you are to be working on Science assignments. Only if ALL your Science assignments are done can you work on other schoolwork. Some work time will allow for collaboration while others will be independent
