Did you know that you can add web page links as slides in Quizizz Lessons? AND that they're interactive -- meaning students can click and engage with them without leaving your live (or asynchronous) lesson?

Yes! 😎

Wait, what? 😲 I didn't know that!

3

Here's How:

STEP 1: In a Quizizz Lesson, select Add new slide

STEP 2: Choose the "Web Page Link" slide

STEP 3: Add your URL

STEP 4: If it's an interactive site, like the examples shared here, the learners can engage with it during the Quizizz Lesson!

Some text here about the topic of discussion

And they're interactive!

Get ready to have your teacher wheel's spinning 🛞

What are some web page examples??

  • Google Form Link

  • Link to a Padlet

  • Link to a Google Doc/Sheet/Slide

  • Link to Desmos Graphing Calculator

  • Math Playground math games

  • PhET simulations for science

  • Thinglink interactive images

  • Most URLs embed beautifully -- don't be shy...test your favorite one out!!

Here comes Desmos Graphing Calculator

On the next slide, graph y=2x and y=2x+1 on the graphing calculator. What do you notice about the lines? Why do you think this is true?

How about some math games embedded in lesson slides as a fun "learning" brain break? 🤔

16

Hey, Science Friends -- PhET simulations work, too!

Use Case Ideas:

  1. Scaffold a science lab via a Quizizz Lesson launched asynchronously. Use an embedded editable Google Sheets for students to submit their data.

  2. Have a Desmos Graphing Calculator embedded as a slide to visualize the graphs and equations of parallel and perpendicular lines during the lesson.

  3. If students are using Docs or Slides collaboratively as part of a lesson, create the content that surrounds that lesson in Quizizz Lessons and reduce learning seconds spent "app switching".

  4. Have students share their thoughts, project links, brainstorming ideas, KWL, and more by embedding a Padlet wall in a Quizizz Lesson at any point during the Lesson

Your turn to share ideas on the next slide!

Yup! You guessed it - an web page link is coming right up!! 💜
