The science of memory is when a person participates in a particular activity, the stronger the synapses and associated memories tied to the activity become.
Memory is today defined in psychology as the faculty of encoding, storing, and retrieving information.
Synapses get stronger or weaker depending on how often you are exposed to the event.
Psychologists have found that memory includes three important categories: sensory, short-term, and long-term.
