  • Born September 24, 1896. Died December 21, 1940.

  • F. Scott Fitzgerald is named after his famous historical relative, Francis Scott Key, who wrote the Star Spangled Banner.

  • ​He flunked out of college and joined the army.

    • Met Zelda Sayre while stationed in Alabama.​
