​Demonstrative Adjectives: which adjective you use depends on 2 things: 1.) how many objects there are, and 2.) how close they are to you.

Singular- Plural-

este, esta-this(close by) estos,estas(these)

ese, esa- that(half-way) esos, esas(those)

aquel, aquella-that over there aquellos, aquellas

(far away) (those over there)

​How to place demonstrative adjectives?

ALL demonstrative adjectives come BEFORE the noun and, as usual, will agree in GENDER(masculine and feminine) and NUMBER (singular vs plural).

​Possessive Adjectives:

  1. Use possessive adjectives to talk about anything belongs to someone.

  2. In Spanish, you MUST use one of these to show ownership. APOSTROPHES are NOT used in SPANISH.

  3. When you use a possessive adjective, it must agree in gender and number with what belongs to the person.
