Grammar

Present continuous can be used for something you are doing right now, or something you are doing around now.

In the present continuous sentences, we add ing to the verb:
Play - Playing Swim - Swimming
Kick - Kicking Run - Running
Jump - Jumping Pass - Passing

Rules

1. Verbs ending in: consonant + "e" = remove "e" and add "ing"

   Example: dance = dancing

2. Verbs ending in: "ie" = remove "ie" and add "ying"

   Example: lie = lying

3. Verbs ending in: consonant + vowel + consonant = double the final consonant

   Example: stop = stopping

   run = running

   We add "ing" in another cases => Study = Studying
