Double-space everything.
Remove space after each paragraph. You can set this up for the whole paper where you go to double-space.
Font
Use twelve point black font. (Some professors may allow 11 or 13.)
Font should be easy to read. Pick Times New Roman, Arial, or Calibri.

No--but be careful!
You can use websites like EasyBib to generate your citations. However, you still need to know what it should look like, because there are many common mistakes that happen with citation generators.

Make sure the information it finds matches the version you used.
Check for incorrect capitalization.
Check that it looks right. Did it do something weird like putting the year second?
After it gives results...
Make sure it's set to the most recent MLA. DON'T USE APA for English classes.
Make sure you have the source handy to fill in any information it asks for.
