I had a visually impaired student indistance learning the spring trimester
of 2020 and up to that point, we had only used Brailled materials all year
long! Thus, the transition to distance learning presented even more
problem solving opportunities than it already did for all students!! With
Quizizz, I was able to keep him on track (this was an accelerated course of
algebra as well!); we had to use google meets A LOT! I was able to get the
discussion going with him through the problems given on Quizizz and he was
able to process the choices with me and we worked through many a concept
with Quizizz/google meets and he successfully moved to the next course
of accelerated math with all the foundational pieces in place that he
needed to know!
