Notice how you can combine them using a relative clause beginning with a preposition.
There is a huge balcony from which you can see the ocean.

Now read these two sentences, and notice how you can combine them using a relative clause beginning with a preposition.
The designer has won awards. They toured the city with the designer.
The designer with whom they toured the city has won awards.
Note that with a preposition, we use whom NOT who: with whom, for whom, to whom.
