​A Rainy Day Adventure”

Last Saturday, I went hiking with my friend Laura. We usually go hiking on sunny days, don’t we? But that morning, the sky was cloudy and gray. I said, “It’s not going to rain, is it?” Laura smiled and said, “No, it isn’t. Let’s go!”

We started walking up the hill. The view was beautiful, but the ground was a little wet. “You brought your boots, didn’t you?” I asked. She laughed, “Of course, I did!” After an hour, it started to rain heavily. We didn’t have an umbrella, did we? Luckily, there was a small café nearby. We ran inside and ordered some hot chocolate. “It’s nice to rest for a while, isn’t it?” Laura said.

When the rain stopped, we walked back home. It wasn’t a perfect day, but we had fun, didn’t we?
