Hydraulics

When liquid or fluid is used to
produce force or movement.

This is possible for 2 reasons:

1. Liquids cannot be compressed.
2. Liquids exert pressure equally

in all directions.

TWO Cylinders

•Master - This cylinder has the fluid
forced out of it, usually by pushing
down on the piston

•Slave - This cylinder has the fluid
move into it, giving it the ability to do
the work it was designed for.
