Decimal Skills Review

When adding & subtracting decimals:

1.) Line up the decimal points, vertically.

2.) Fill in zeros where necessary.

3.) Add or subtract and be sure to bring the decimal down in your final answer.

Fraction Skills Review

When adding/subtracting fractions:

1.) Be sure both fractions have a common denominator.

2.) If they do, add/subtract the numerator & keep the denominator.

3.) If they don't, make equivalent fractions first then follow step 2.

4.) Lastly, simplify.
