Adjective clauses are dependent clauses that give
information about nouns. They allow you to combine
two sentences into one by using relative pronouns
(who, whom, whose, where, when, which, that, and
why) as connectors.

Who
(used to modify the subject - person)
1) I thanked the woman

I thanked the woman who helped me.
Adjective clause:
“who” describes the person
as the subject “she”
Whom (used to modify the object - person)
1) The man was Mr. Jones.
2) I saw him.
The man whom I saw was Mr. Jones
Adjective clause :
“Whom” describes the
person as the object “him”
Whose (possession)
1) Do you know the girl?
2) Her shoes were red last night.
Do you know the girl whose shoes were red
last night?
Adjective clause :
“Whose” describes the
possession of something,
“her shoes”

Adjective clause:
“where I was born” describes
noun ”Malang”

(as an object - non person)
1) Mom bought the toy.

Adjective clause :
“which you love very much”
describes “the toy”
Which
(as a subject - non person)
1) The book is mine
2) The book is on the table
The book, which is on the table, is mine

2) Then, make a poster like the example. The theme is “Your
favorite place to visit.” The poster can be digital or non-digital.

4) Next week, each group will present their dialog based on the
poster.
