In the previous lessons, you have learned the function of the particle に (ni) as a time and direction marker. Today, we learn the function of the particle に (ni) as a purpose or target marker.

Nihongo no jyugyou ni hon ga irimasu

The particle に (ni) is placed after にほんごのじゅぎょう (nihongo no jyugyou), which means "Japanese class". It tells us what the need is related to the class.
