When we write an essay, we are using a lot of information from our research. We are liable for plagiarism If we do not give credit to the author of the information we are using. So today we will talk about citations and then you will use your research to write your essay,

In-text citation
Use the author's last name and the year of publication.
For example, "(Field, 2005)".
* Multiple authors: Use an ampersand (&) between the last names of
two authors, and "et al." for three or more authors.
For example, "(Cook & Croft, 2015)" or "(Chen et al., 2008)"
For direct quotations, include the page number as well,
For example, "(Field, 2005, p. 14)".

Websites citations
In APA website citation you typically include the following information:
Author: The author's last name and initials
Publication date: The full date of publication in parentheses, such as (year, month, day)
Title: The title of the page in italics
Website name: The name of the website in plain text
URL: The URL of the page

Examples
Online dictionary, thesaurus, or encyclopedia with a group author: Institution or organization name (Year). Title of entry. In Title of reference work. URL.
Webpage or online content: Lastname, F. M. (Year, Month Date). Title of page. Site name. URL.
Wikipedia article: Title of article (Year, Month Date). In Wikipedia. URL of archived version of page.

If no auth or date
If there is no author identified, the title moves to the author position. If there is no date identified, use the letters "n.d." which stands for "no date".

Formatting the reference list
Font
Use a legible font like 11-point Calibri, 11-point Arial, 12-point Times New Roman, or 11-point Georgia.
Line spacing
Double-space the entire paper, including the title page, block quotations, and reference list.

Align paragraphs to the left margin, with a ragged right margin.
Page numbers
Put page numbers in the top right corner of every page header, starting with page 1.
