Mục tiêu của bài học:

• Nắm được hậu tố thường gặp của trạng từ (adverbs)

• Nhận diện được các trạng từ đặc biệt thường gặp trong bài thi TOEIC

• Nhận diện và vận dụng được kiến thức về vị trí của trạng từ trong câu

Thông thường khi nhắc đến trạng từ, bạn thường nhớ đến hậu tố gì đầu tiên nhỉ????

1. Hậu tố:

ADV = ADJ + ly

VD: attractively, quickly, creatively

2. Một số trạng từ đặc biệt:

• Tần suất (Frequency): always (luôn luôn), usually (thường xuyên), often (thường), sometimes (thỉnh thoảng), rarely/seldom (hiếm khi), never (không bao giờ).

  VD: She always wake up at 7 a.m

• Thời gian (Time): already (đã.. rồi), yet (chưa), still (vẫn), just (vừa mới, chỉ), soon (sớm), recently/ lately (gần đây).
  
  VD: He will come back soon.

• Mức độ (Degree): very (rất), quite (quá), too (khá), enough (đủ), extremely (cực kì), even (thậm chí).

  VD: That room is large enough to take a second bed.

Thể hiện kết quả (Result):

• therefore: do đó

• consequently: kết quả là

• as a result: kết quả là

• thus: vì vậy

• hence: do đó

  VD: She studied hard; therefore, she passed the exam.

• however: tuy nhiên
