​1. Cylindrical in shape

​1. Does not have an easily characterized shape

​2. Has a complex shape

​3. Examples include the vertebrae, sacrum, coccyx, temporal, sphenoid, ethmoid, zygomatic, maxilla, mandible, palatine, inferior nasal concha, and hyoid.
