What is a rate of change?

A rate of change is a rate that describes how one quantity changes in relation to another!

For example, getting $5 every 1 hour would be a rate of change between money ($) per time (hour).

A constant rate of change is a linear relationship (aka. straight line that sometimes goes through the origin!)

Pretty much all the have to do to find the constant rate of change is find the UNIT RATE of the relationship! :)
