​Most nouns will take -s to make it plural.

RULE 1: Write -s to most nouns.

class - classes

dish - dishes

tomato - tomatoes

fox - foxes​

​Examples:

Every time a word finishes in S-H-O-X, write -es as the plural.

RULE 2: Write -es to nouns that finish in S-H-O-X.
