A form of government where the people do not own land, factories or machinery. Instead the government owns and controls these. People are expected to share their money with everyone. Everyone is considered equal and paid equal regardless of job, family, etc. Usually run by a dictator; people often have little to no say in government.

A form of government where the citizens own the land, machinery, and factories. People are in control of their role in society and how much money they make, and the goods they own. Often characterized by people voting, and having a say in government.
