Europe in the 19th Century...
Europe saw quite a bit of emigration(people leaving their country) in the 19th century as Irish, German, Italian, and eastern Europeans left Europe to pursue new lives in the United States due to economic troubles.
In 1941-1945, many fled Europe due to WWII after many saw destruction and violence.

Today, Europe is experiencing a surge in immigration from southwest Asia countries that include: Syria, Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, and Iran among others.
Europe also saw a big increase in immigration from Ukraine due to the war with Russia.

Europe is a great example of cultures coming together
Despite being located in the center of many countries, the spreading of people and culture has caused problems. Laws have been passed ( ex. hijab being banned for students in France) as a direct response of terrorism acts in Europe between 2013-2018. Europeans fear immigrants will erode European traditions and customs.
Problems with immigration
Many trends have found a way to Europe such as music, food, sports, and traditions. Spices from India are now an important part of European food.
