How to Use Quizizz

Simply type "Quizizz" into the search bar of your internet browser and the results should bring you to this website. Certain K-12 schools and districts have the ability to make an upgraded account for free!

1st Step: Sign up!

​When you first log into Quizizz, you will be brought to the "Explore" tab. From here the website will show you templates made by other users for you to use or base your own designs on. You can also utilize the search bar to find specific topics.

Explore

Clicking on the "Library" tab [see left sidebar] brings you to the collection of designs you created, liked, shared, or specific tags you flagged. You can also use this page to upload a document and turn it into a lesson or quiz. The free version allows you to create up to 20 projects.

​The "Reports" tab shows you data from the quizzes your classes have participated in. You also have the option to filter this data.​

The "Classes" tab gives you the ability to manually create a group or import one from a supported online learning management system. Note the majority require a paid or upgraded subscription.

​The "Accommodations" tab allows you to adjust the content you create to meet requirements of individual's needs and possible regulatory requirements.

Accomodations

​"Quizizz AI" is a resource to help you create content from existing resources, find resources to use, and explore other possibilities you might not already know about. There are also options to add this as a Chrome extension and become certified in using Quizizz AI.

Quizizz AI

After pressing the purple "Create+" button [see left sidebar], you are presented with the different options for content creation. For an example, this presentation will cover the "Lesson" option.

Create Options

When creating a "Lesson", you have the option to upload slides from Google or in PDF form, or create slides from scratch using Quizizz.

​​Lesson Options

The Quizizz lesson creation platform gives you the options to upload media, incorporate different elements, and pull from your Quizizz library.

​​Create Your Slides

​Once you finish creating your lesson, you can assign to individuals or classes, preview, create a worksheet from your lesson, or continue to edit. The purple "Start Now" button [see top right corner] allows for a live quiz and learners to answer in real time.

Viewing Lesson

This tool has the ability to help simplify evaluation and assessment creation. Play around and see if it would work for you!
