Infinitive Translation

Infinitives are typically translated "to ____"

amare = to love
habere = to have
mittere = to send
audire = to hear

nb: potest can be translated "be able" or "can." If it's translated "be able" the infinitive is translated normally with "to" but if it's translated "can" the "to" is dropped from the infinitive.
