Rules reminder
Don't talk when someone else is talking
Food and drink away (Water in a sports bottle is okay)
Phones in the box at the beginning of the lesson
Lanyards on at all times (These will be checked)
No hats or coats on in the classroom (Unless you have a pass)
Listen carefully, make notes and always follow my instructions
Bring required kit to every lesson (Wired headphones, hard drive, SD card and SD card reader)

Learning Objectives
Demonstrate the ability to plan and film a short conversation using the shot reverse shot technique.
Apply technical skills to import, organise, and edit media within Adobe Premiere Pro.
Export and present a completed sequence, showing awareness of industry-standard formats.

• A film technique used in conversations between two characters.
• Uses alternating over-the-shoulder or close-up shots.
• Helps the audience follow dialogue and emotion.

Shooting Rules
Secure the baseplate and tripod legs so the camera is stable and level.
Have a firm grip on camera when not on the tripod and during transfer on and off of tripod.
Format SD card before shooting.
Film in MP4. The rest of the settings should be on auto. Check this.
Make sure to get multiple takes of a shot.
Back up your footage immediately after shooting. Don't lose your hard work!

Group Task
Work in groups of 3 or 4.
Read through script provided ('A Favour').
Plan and block this scene, keeping the 180 degree rule in mind.
Decide who will act and who will shoot. Go out and film your 'shot reverse shot' scene. Make sure to get multiple takes of each.

You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of others.
Always keep equipment within your sight and control, and never leave it where it could cause someone to trip or fall.
