IMPORTANT! A thesis statement is a sentence that states the central idea of a research paper or an essay. It is the main argument/claim that the writer will present, support, and defend.

This sounds simple, but some thesis statements are stronger than others. Understanding the traits of a strong thesis statement will help you create a GOOD thesis✨
