How can you compare and order rational and irrational numbers?

Convert all values to decimals

Round decimals when necessary

Use perfect Squares (1, 4, 9, 16, 25...) to determine which integers an irrational square root falls between and estimate it's decimal.

Think about Pi
3.14 is the short approximation but NASA uses 3.141592653589783 (15 digits) because it has more decimal places and will be more accurate in calculations.
