  1. concrete noun - a physical thing, person, or place—something or someone that can be perceived with the five senses (touch, hearing, sight, smell, and taste).

  2. abstract noun - a noun denoting an idea, quality, or state of being

  3. countable noun - items that can be counted

  4. uncountable noun - a person/thing, idea, or concept that cannot be counted as individual units

  5. collective noun -a word that names a group of people, animals, or things as a single unit

  1. possessive noun - a noun that indicates ownership, possession, or a relationship

  2. regular plural noun - a noun that forms its plural by adding -s or -es to the singular form
