Make sure you  set the map to “Sports Betting”. The states in ​ (a)   are the states that have legalized sports betting and the states in ​ (b)   have made it illegal to do sports betting. As of Feb 2025, there are ​ (c)   states that have legalized it and ​ (d)   states that have not, including California

Nevada earns about $​ (a)   million in revenue from sports betting, with about $30 million of that revenue being taxed by the government. Those taxes help ​ (b)   local ​ (c)   and other important projects. 

However, this comes at a cost, as the money Nevada receives from sports betting comes from people ​ (d)   some of their bets.
