What is the Nevada State Literacy Plan?

The NV State Literacy Plan was last revised in 2015.

This document is meant to serve as a comprehensive roadmap to improve literacy outcomes for all students across the state.

Why was the Nevada State Literacy Plan adopted?

The Nevada State Literacy Plan serves as a reminder of our shared responsibility to focus on the literacy needs of Nevada's students among educators and leaders at every level of our education system.

A Call to Action

Our goal is to ensure that all Nevada students graduate with the necessary literacy skills to be future-ready and globally prepared for postsecondary success and civic life.
