Cell phones

• May be used anytime when you have an emergency

• May not be brought into a classroom

• Should be turned off during instructional time

• May be used in restrooms if your work is finished in class

You are not tardy if

• You wanted to see another teacher before coming to class

• You are fully inside the classroom when the bell rings

• You feel that you must go to the restroom before coming to class

• Apologize for being late

If your teacher takes up your cell phone

• It will be sold on eBay

• You can pick it up at any time if you have $15

• You may call your parents and have them come pick it up

• It will cost you $15 to get it back from the Principal after 9th period

Earbuds

• Are prohibited in school by law

• May be used in hallways between classes

• May not be used at any time in this class without permission

• May be used in class if the teacher is not looking

After 4 tardies,

• Each new tardy will result in a full day in ISS

• Each new tardy will result in Central D-Hall

• Each new tardy will result in Lunch D-Hall

• Dementors will take you to Azkaban

In this computer lab,

• Food, candy, and gum are allowed if I clean up my mess

• Food is not allowed, but candy & gum are allowed

• Food & candy are allowed if I'm not working on my computer

• Food of any kind (including candy & gum) are not allowed

My backpack

• Are not allowed in this class

• Cannot be with me at my computer desk

• Must be zipped and locked

• Must be placed on the cabinet tops by the windows

The dress code for PHS allows

• Swim wear

• Visible undergarments if worn in good taste

• Low cut necklines

• No skin from above fingertip length

PHS policy says

• Teachers cannot tell students to wait before going to the restroom

• Students may not use the restroom during passing periods

• Students may go to the restroom any time he/she wants to go

• Restroom breaks must follow the 10/10 rule

The 10/10 rule

• Means 10 minutes after the tardy bell and 10 minutes before the end-of-class bell

• You must get 10 out of 10 questions correct to earn an A

• Students must work in groups of 10

• Is no longer in effect at PHS
