• ใช้พูดถึงสิ่งที่เป็นความจริงทั่วไป (ทั้งเรื่องเกี่ยวกับตัวเราและความจริงตามธรรมชาติ)

• ใช้พูดถึงนิสัย หรือกิจวัตรที่ทำเป็นประจำในปัจจุบัน

• ใช้พูดเกี่ยวกับสิ่งที่กำหนดไว้ว่าจะทำในอนาคต (มักเกี่ยวกับแผนงานและตารางเวลา)
