• Obtaining a progress report from the primary treating physician

• Comp diaries or anything w/ the red exclamation point marking it high importance

What essential tasks do you need to complete everyday?

• Clearing your bill queue

• Answering phone calls/ returning voicemails in a timely manner

• Respond to emails in a timely manner

• Addressing the diaries that populate that day & indexing documents appropriately

• Clearing your fax queue

What can you create diaries for?

• To follow up with a provider for status of a medical report.

• To follow up with a RTWC regarding work status/ accommodations.

• To remind yourself to review the claim

• To remind yourself to send a letter, update the case plan/ estimate, address a med/ legal report or award.

• To remind yourself of anything you need to do regarding that specific claim.

Please provide me with some examples of what to include in your case plans.

CARE tips/ tricks:

• Utilize 2 screens

• When updating estimate have your pay history on 1 screen and the estimate in the other screen

• Save often! (case plans, SAR's, letters, diaries etc.)
