What is the purpose of PlaneSym’s Specialty curriculum?

What is an initial training course?

• A course that is intended for pilots who have no previous experience in the aircraft.

• A course that is intended for pilots with previous experience in the aircraft and will be upgrading to PIC on the same aircraft.  

• A course that is intended for pilots who are currently trained and qualified in the aircraft, and will continue to serve in the same duty position on the same aircraft.  

• A course that is intended for pilots who want to remove a limitation from an existing type rating and/or FAA ATP certificate.  

If completing Distance Learning, what must be accomplished?

• A validation exam prior to in-person training
• 10 hours of self-study
• Acknowledgment that all training modules were completed
• Oral questioning of the student prior to in-person training
