When can you do a hotfix to Production on a "regular" week?

• From Monday morning until Thursday

• From Thursday (after deployment) until Monday morning

• Anytime

What to do when a hotfix is needed?

• Write to VBC-Infrastructure channel and ask IEs to deploy a hotfix

• Inspect if there are changes in develop that can't be deployed together with the hotfix and choose appropriate hotfix strategy

• Create a hotfix on develop branch, merge changes into Master using pipeline, and ask IEs to approve deployment to Prod

• Create a hotfix on master branch, merge changes into Master and ask IEs to approve deployment to Prod; then merge master into develop branch

If develop branch contains other commits that you do not want to be merged together with your hotfix, you have to rebase your feature branch on ___ and merge your commit into ___:

• develop branch

• master branch

If develop branch does not contain any other commits, you can merge your commit into develop branch and then:

• Run pipeline "Merge develop into master" with default parameters

• Run pipeline "Merge develop into master" with adjusted "repos" parameter to include only your Repo name
